Tell us about your family.
My parents, sister and brother-in-law all live in the Ann Arbor area, which is cool -- and they all attended the University of Michigan. All of us were Engineering majors except for my mom who was a piano performance major in the Music School. My parents met when they were living at Baits and going to grad school. My dad's from India and my mom is from the U.P. I'm exactly 50% Indian and 50% Swedish :)
How did you end up at New Life Church?
Ben Bulat invited me to come when I was in college, but I was an atheist and wasn't really interested in going. Then after having God prove to me that He's real, I connected with Ben to find out more info about what the Bible said. I decided to follow Jesus then and started attending church regularly.
Why are you still here?
I love being involved in seeing God change the lives of college students.
What do you do here?
I help lead the campus side of the church, specifically focusing on leadership development. This includes running our summer Leadership Training program as well as helping developing leaders during the school year. I'm connected to the North Campus New Life Team and love being up on North, seeing our church community there grow and thrive. I also serve by overseeing our sound engineers.. I love running sound! :)
