Tell us about your family.
I married Rose in 1999, an adorable and incredibly capable wife. The love of my life. We were high school sweethearts. And we have three awesome boys: Jonathan, David & Michael.
How did you end up at New Life Church?
I got invited when I was a freshman in college by a fella on my dorm floor (1995).
Why are you still here?
I love this church. I believe in the church as God's agent to make a difference in the world and I have become particularly fond of the mission of reaching and training college-aged men and women to be people after God's heart, who are both equipped and committed to serving Him with their entire lives.
What do you do here?
I've heard many of my co-workers say "Joel runs New Life Church". That may be partly true. I manage most everything that falls outside of our small group ministry. We call it our Operations Department. It's a blast (most of the time).
