Tell us about your family.
My beautiful wife's name is Kirsten. I have three great kids. Elizabeth (19), Anna (16), Joshua (13). Evenly spaced.
How did you end up at New Life Church?
Steve Hayes asked me to join him on staff in 1997. Then God called me and gave me a vision of what He would accomplish through us at U of M.
Why are you still here?
Because college students are the future leaders of the world. I want them to know and believe that following Jesus is the best way to live and the only way to die. My holy discontent is to help people discover their purpose and begin to change the world for Christ. I have lived long enough to realize that the only hope in this world is the local church when it is working as Jesus intends it to work.
What do you do here?
Right now I am raising mission support full time. When we are fully supported, I will focus on motivating and equipping people to share the gospel. I also want to help recruit the next generation of church planters.
