Tell us about your family.
My family is very large. There are my parents and my four younger siblings (Eric, Luke, Olivia and Nik) who I could tell you about for hours because they are exquisitely unique. Olivia and Nik fully completed our family when they were adopted from Kazakhstan in 2005.
How did you end up at New Life Church?
I first came to New Life because I got a postcard in my mailbox for the '30 second' challenge. It basically described New Life and it was what I was looking for in church even though I didn't know it at the time. I came and loved it. I met one of the staff women she invited me to small groups, and the rest is history.
Why are you still here?
I'm still at New Life because I fully believe in the work this church does. College students need people to come alongside them for these tumultuous years. I love getting to be a part of their journey and seeing how they grow in their faith.
What do you do here?
I work with the HillSide New Life Team, which is people who live in dorms of Markley, Couzens, and Lloyd. I spend most of my time discipling women, leading small groups, helping train women leaders, and planning events.
