====================================

Tell us about your family.
I married Jessie Filicicchia, the most extraordinary woman I've ever known, on May 22, 2010. We're a small family still, but what we lack in size we make up for in quirkiness and time spent with our head in the clouds.

I'm also an only child with a mom (Karen), dad (Dave), and stepmom (Michelle). My mom has two dogs, Vinny (named after a Joe Pesci character in an awesome movie), and Gibson. My dad and stepmom have a small, yippy monster by the name of Wilson (named after a volleyball in an awesome movie).

How did you end up at New Life Church?
I guess that depends on how Calvinist you are. But the plot went something like this: I saw an advertisement in South Quad (the best dorm ever) during the first week my freshman year and thought, "Church in the MLB? I know where that is!" I came to NLC and thought, "The girl who sings while rocking the Converse All-Stars and the crazy clothes is pretty good, and that bald guy's not all that bad either. I guess I'll come back." I haven't missed a Sunday service since.

Why are you still here?
I've never seen a place where people's lives transform as rapidly, profoundly and enduringly as New Life Church. God is bringing spiritual renewal to this world by raising up young leaders who dare to seek him in boldness and faith, and I get to be in the thick of it here at New Life; it's absolutely incredible. I strongly believe that everything God is doing here will echo throughout generations to come, shaping the world for good.

What do you do here?
I dream big dreams and share them with the people around me. I think God has given me a vivid imagination; I see into His Kingdom, and I speak of its realities to the people around me, calling them to taste and see how good He is. For the time, I do this mostly with students in or near South Quad, in hopes that they will be sent out to share what they've witnessed with people all over campus and around the world.
