Tell us about your family.
I've been married to my lovely wife, Emily, since June 2005. We met in college and got to know each other through New Life. We had our first child, Joey, in June of 2008. He's a joy, has crazy hair, and is very generous with his smiles!
How did you end up at New Life Church?
My first year at the University of Michigan, I wanted to find a solid church because I had just become a Christian 9 months before that point. New Life was the first church I visited and I knew from that first service that it was the right place for me. I got plugged into small groups later that first week and haven't looked back since.
Why are you still here?
I'm still at New Life because God grabbed a hold of my life at a young age and saved me from so much hurt and brokenness, that I see the potential to be a part of seeing that happen in the lives of so many other people through the ministry of New Life.
What do you do here?
I'm one of the pastors at New Life and I lead the campus part of the church as the campus director. I oversee the campus small groups and work with the other staff to raise up leaders, equip the students for ministry, and mobilize the campus in outreach.
